Weld neck is a kind of flange type. The technique we manufacture is forging. There are two designs. The regular type is used with pipes. The long type is unsuitable for pipes and is used in process plant. Main materials are carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel. For carbon steel, ASTM A105 & A105N are needed by most project. Stainless steel 304L,316L are common steel grade too. Facings include raised face, flat face, ring type joint. For large diameter size weld neck flanges, the standard shall be in accordance with ASME B16.47. Under this standard, there are two series, including series A & B.
